A-list models including Miranda Kerr were made-up by legend Pat McGrath at Sonia Rykiel with a sultry smoky eye. Super chic… super Parisian.
Cara Delevingne’s brows may have been bleached for Givenchy but they were back with a bang at Saint Laurent. Heavier and darker than ever, with graphic eyeliner wings on the lids, the eyes were in focus while lips remained nude. Hair was simple and centre-parted (once again).
Bright blue eyes took centre stage at Elie Saab where makeup expert Tom Pecheux using MAC layered different azure shades top and bottom. So beautiful.
It’s official. Crimping is cool again. Well – if you do it a la Stella McCartney. Stylist supremo Eugene Souleiman gave the top layer of models’ hair texture by crimping a few random sections and smoothing them into a low ponytail. Chucked out your crimper in 1999? Achieve by clamping skinny plaits tightly with your straighteners, going up and down a few times, then unravel them to reveal crimps.
Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup, set a modern trend for delicate expressions of colour next Spring. The “Pastel Eyes” were created using laser-cut patches of satin, in a similar ilk to Fendi’s demonstration of leather liner. We love this trend! Stick on material eyeliner as you would falsies with eyelash glue and keep the rest of your makeup natural.
