How To Check That Rs 2000 Note Is Original or Fake

Prime Minister Narendra Modi surprised the entire nation by announcing the withdrawal of currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 in circulation from the midnight of November 8, 2016.

While addressing the nation, PM Modi also acknowledged the problems citizen would face in the decisive war against the black money and corruption and urged them to cooperate with the government.

Modi also announced that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will also release Rs 2000 notes in the market.

The new note released by India’s central bank will, as usual, have features to ensure that people recognise it as original and not fake. It will also have features for the visually-impaired. Let’s have a look at them.
